Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC), Government of NCT of Delhi

Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC) is a not-for-profit public company established by the Government of NCT of Delhi to conserve and revitalize the heritage of Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi). Incorporated under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, SRDC focuses on preserving architecturally significant structures, historical landmarks, and cultural assets while promoting sustainable urban development. Its projects include the redevelopment of Chandni Chowk, heritage walks, and adaptive reuse of heritage buildings. SRDC works to integrate heritage conservation into the city’s planning process, improve civic amenities in the Walled City, and enhance tourism potential.
